Bethesda announcement : Elder scrolls V: Skyrim has sold 20 million copies.
Bethesda Game Studios developed Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has sold 20 million copies since its launch back in November 2011.
Bethesda announced the achievement in a press release confirming the sales figure though it did not mention if the sales figures are of copies shipped by retailers or sold copies.
7 million copies were shipped to retailers out of which 3.5 million copies were sold in the first 48 hours of the release.
The game was released in 2011 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PS3 with Legendary edition came out in June last year.
