Ubisoft latest addition to its assasin's creed game franchise, Assasin's Creed IV Black Flag has acquired positive reviews since it release. Now, we bring you all the pro's and con's of the game as what we experienced while playing.
It seems like ubisoft has learned from its previous assasin's creeds .The expectations were of the same kind of ezio travelling through palaces and castles killing everyone, climbing and jumping off various places.
But its not what this game delivers.Assasin's creed IV black flag describes the life of a pirate assasin wanting to just earn enough money and respects of all kinds.The story starts with a wonderful pirate ship fight resulting duncan ( protagonist) in a ship wreck and finally onto a lonely carribean beach. There he meets an assasin resulting in a chase fight. The storyline starts with this point and duncan gets the clothes of the assasins he murders and acquires his role in the story to continue forward on a sea journey in search of money and wealth. Duncan, meets an englishmen who takes him to his village letting duncan to experience some fights and and personalities.This is how the story continues.
Gameplay:
The gameplay is extremelling thrilling .Whereas sometimes it fails to deliver more of action and drama where it should. Duncan, traveling through village life ,surrounded by enemies and other assasin's all around, is just a wonderful experience that an assasin's creed fan wants.
One can even dive into the carribean sea in search of old buried wealth and antiques that somewhat increases the players wealth and reputation in the storyline.What we found the most interesting addition to its gameplay is the shark harpooning.Ubisoft has done more than enough to deliver this feature where one can harpoon sharks in the sea adding more excitement in the game.
Keeping the storyline apart, shark harpooning and stealing and pirating other ships is the most excietement funtime in the game.As of previous assasin's creeds, the protagonist can climb and run through rooftops, trees and even jump off the buildings creating an all setteled assasin experience. Don't you want your enemies to see you and catch your tail ?? Just enter the dense bushes and duncan hides himself from the enemies behind. But if they see you while hiding, run for your life or just have a brave heart to fight those dogs.
Graphics:
The graphics of the game are just fantastic.The whole carribean environment looks brilliant with vivid green colors, light blue coral sea which gets darker as on moving deep into the ocean, which looks just real.The character graphics did'nt surprised us much and seemed like of the previous assasin's creeds.The in-game movie are'nt of that level to call them "fantastic". Perhaps, the graphics vary on different platforms, but not that enough.What makes the game better in graphics are the hills covered with lush flora and the oceans reflecting vivid blue colors boosts the will to play it atleast once.
Music:
The game's music is very calm and quite. It feels like a true pirate assasin with the music in the background.
While having a fight, the music suddenly changes its mood from peace to action. This makes one to play the game again and again.
In overall, the game is really exciting and touches the mark to deliver enough action and drama.
Assasin's creed IV black flag was released on different dates across various platforms with the initial release on 29th october, 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360.
