As DICE puts an hold on its future game projects due to server issues of Battlefield 4, EA Sports has experienced a fair amount of downfall of its stocks.Shares are currently trading at $20.81 after closing yesterday at $22.34.
Though the company has made a statement : "We know many of our players are frustrated, and we feel your pain. We will not stop until this is right." "The work being done to stabilize Battlefield 4 does not impact our release schedule for future titles," the representative said.
Development on those DICE projects and future Battlefield 4 expansions will remain on hold until EA and DICE can fix the numerous technical issues that are plaguing Battlefield 4's online multiplayer mode.
EA has released patches for PS3 and PS4.. But the general stability patch of the game is still under development and with be released soon.
Gamers believe that Battlefield 3 has made more of a impression than Battlefield 4. The success of Battlefield 3 took the expectations for Battlefield 4 at a hike. This might be a reason that Battlefield 4 has not surpassed Battlefield 3.
